Meet Mrs. Zwieg

I LOVE teaching first grade at Jackson Elementary, and I am thrilled to be working in the school district that gave me my passion and foundation for learning! My husband Phil and I were both born and raised in Elkhorn. We live in Elkhorn with our children Giuliana and Lukas.

I graduated in 2010 from University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Middle School Education, and a minor in Special Education. In place of student teaching, I had an internship teaching second grade in Burlington. I previously taught third grade in Milwaukee, Kenosha, and Salem. I started teaching first grade at Jackson in 2016. In 2020, I graduated from University of Wisconsin Superior with my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Our year will be filled with laughter, fun, memories, and of course so much learning. I hope that this school year your child will thrive not only academically, but emotionally and socially. It is important to have open communication; I would appreciate any advice or suggestions that can make this year as successful as possible. Together, we will make this year amazing!
